What can you do with a container
, some salt , some broken lightbulbs
, and water
?
Well, I'll explain this interesting process here.
Place broken bulb in container filled with salt water then set it in the microwave: and then turn the microwave on.
The resulting lightshow from the filaments in the lightbulb lasts a couple of minutes (if you aren't scared the lightbulb might blow up, like I was) and is very pretty. You can't really see it in this picture, but it is more interesting when you actually do have the broken lightbulbs in the microwave (with it on). See?.
Oh and by the way please do not try this at home if you are using a working lightbulb (the lightbulb probably won't last), any piece of metal that is not submerged in water (you destroy microwaves this way), or don't have the microwave owner's permission. Also: Please don't blame me for what you do.
